The Nutrition Nourishment Podcast (originally "Journeys in Food, Nutrition and Sustainability") is a show where I talk with inspiring and knowledgeable guests all about their expertise in their own fields, including those from nutrition and dietetics to sustainability, and psychology and many more areas of wellness and healthcare. In this podcast, my guests share with you their passion for their subject, their knowledge of food, nutrition and well-being, how they got to where they are and, their advice, and experiences with us. I am delighted to welcome Kelly today to share her journey so far in Nutrition. Kelly has a background in marketing and a passion for food which has led her to slightly change her career path to Nutrition. Kelly started in Nutrition with associate study at Oxford Brookes which lead her to her Master’s Programme in Human Nutrition at St Mary’s University which she recently graduated from. Today we talk more about her work and volunteering experience, her master’s degree and what is next for her. I’ve learnt is "to not give up and to keep on working hard at the things you love".

I am delighted to welcome Sarah today to share her journey so far in Nutrition. Today we talk about Sarah’s degree in Nutrition and Food Consumer Science, her placement year and how she went about applying for it. Sarah shares with us some of her other passions, in particular within sustainability. Sarah shares with us some advice and I learn to work hard, go with the flow, and trust in what you do know as you don’t always know which direction your path is going to take you on. From Sarah I learnt to "trust in what you know".

It is a pleasure to be talking with Talia today about her journey in nutrition and dietetics. Talia is a registered dietitian who has specialised in Eating Disorders. Today, Talia takes us through her inspiration to study dietetics, her experiences studying and working in hospitals which led her to her specialisation and through her journey to setting up her own company while offering part time one to one consultations at the Rhitrition clinic. Talia reminded us that "you can never predict what path you are going to take".

Charlottes journey began as a fitness trainer which led her into the world of nutrition, she now has plenty of nutrition experience within the food industry. Charlotte takes us through her journey to where she is now with her own nutrition consultancy business. She talks through the mentorship she provides and also has some great advice for us, including "to try and step out of your comfort zone, that’s where the magic happens".

I am excited to be sharing today Rory's journey in nutrition. His experience started off training and working as a Chef. This lead to sparking a passion for nutrition. After completing an Access course, Rory went to University to study nutrition. Since graduating Rory has gone back into the Food Industry and by putting himself out there, he has got a job he loves working both as a chef and nutritionist. Rory has a very unique journey which I am excited to share with you today. In this episode, I learnt from Rory the importance of "having faith and putting yourself out there".

I am so excited to be talking with Sophie today and sharing her nutrition journey. Sophie's journey began with an undergraduate degree in psychology, her passion and love for nutrition grew, leading her to a masters in nutrition and eating disorders along her way safe. I am so excited to share with you how safe he got to, where she is now as a registered nutritionist with her own company and working at the rejection clinic. Sophie shared some great advice and experiences with us today including "the importance of supporting your own wellbeing to be able to support others".
